reset \- reset the teletype bits to a sensible state
.SH SYNOPSIS
.B reset
.SH DESCRIPTION
.I Reset
sets the terminal to cooked mode, turns off cbreak,
turns on nl, and restores stty and ioctl characters that are null
to their default values.

This is most useful after crapping out in raw mode.

It isn't a bad idea to follow
