 Instructions for generating PROM files for OpenSPARC T1 in FPGA implementation
===================================================================================

[1] System Requirements:

    - Sparc system running Solaris 9 or higher

[2] Source code for PROM files is included in $SIM_ROOT/t1_fpga
    directory.

[3] PROM file generation depends on the following files.

    $SIM_ROOT/hypervisor/src/greatlakes/ontario/t1_fpga/q.bin
    $SIM_ROOT/obp/obp/arch/sun4v/niagara/t1_fpga/openboot.bin

[4] Compile hypervisor. Look at $SIM_ROOT/README.hypervisor for instructions.
    The following file would be generated

    $SIM_ROOT/hypervisor/src/greatlakes/ontario/t1_fpga/q.bin

[5] Compile obp. Make sure to source OpenSPARCT2_SAM.cshrc according to the
    instructions in the README file so that the two environment variables
    SIM_ROOT and SUN_STUDIO are set. Run the following two commands
    to generate openboot.bin file.

    $ cd  $SIM_ROOT/obp/obp/arch/sun4v/niagara/t1_fpga/
    $ make

[6] To compile source code for PROM files, change to the directory
    $SIM_ROOT/t1_fpga/src and then type "make".

[7] The PROM files 1c1t_prom.bin, 1c1t_obp_prom.bin, 1c4t_prom.bin
    and 1c4t_obp_prom.bin files will be created under the directory
    $SIM_ROOT/t1_fpga/src/xilinx/prom/
