2The file "decl" began with ".PP". All files sent
3to -ms MUST begin with a "-ms" command line. You can
4tell these command lines, in general, because they
5begin with a period and have only capital letters on them.
6The ".PP" command indicates a new paragraph.
7So to add another paragraph to a file, you put a ".PP"
8in front and then type in the new text. Here is the
9next paragraph of the declaration of independence. Add
10it to the end of the file "decl" that you've been working
11with. You can do that most easily by picking up the text
12from file "para2", or you can type it in again. It is
13not necessary to keep every word on exactly
14the line it was, since the program will rearrange them.
15But the ".PP" must be on a line by itself. Then
16run off the the new version.

21When in the course of human events, it becomes
22necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have
23connected them with another, and to assume among the
24powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which
25the laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent
