41Section one of the manual contains most of the commands
42which comprise the

44user enviroment.
45Some of the commands included in section one are
46text editors, command shell interpreters,
47searching and sorting tools,
48file manipulation commands
49system status commands,
50remote file copy commands, mail commands,
51compilers and compiler tools,
52formatted output tools,
53and line printer commands.

55All commands set a status value upon exit which may be tested
56to see if the command completed normally.
57The exit values and their meanings are explained in the individual
58manuals. Traditionally, the value 0 signifies successful
59completetion of the command.
