16.SH DESCRIPTION
17.I Vpac
18reads the raster printer/plotter accounting files, accumulating the number
19of pages (for narrow fan-fold devices) or feet (for wide, roll paper devices)
20of paper consumed by each user, and printing out
21how much each user consumed in pages or feet and dollars (billed at
222 cents / page or 8 cents / foot). If any
23.I names
24are specified, then statistics are only printed for those users;
25usually, statistics are printed for every user who has used any paper.
26.PP
27The
28.B \-W
29flag causes accounting to be done for a wide roll paper device. The default is
30to do accounting for a narrow, fan-fold device.
31The
32.B \-t
33flag causes the output to be sorted by feet of paper; usually the
34output is sorted alphabetically by name. The
35.B \-r
36flag reverses the sorting order.
37The
38.B \-s
39flag causes the accounting information to be summarized on the
40summary accounting file; this summarization is necessary since on a
41busy system, the accounting file can grow by several lines per day.
