The m\bme\bes\bsg\bg utility allows a user to decide if other users may write mes-
sages to his or her screen. Programs such as talk(1), write(1) and
echo(1) are social and display a message on the target user's terminal.
Sometimes this is inconvenient.
Options:
n\bn Disallow messages, providing peace, and informing the contacting
party that `Your party is refusing messages'.
y\by Allow messages to be displayed.
If no arguments are given, m\bme\bes\bsg\bg displays the present message status.
The m\bme\bes\bsg\bg utility exits with one of the following values:
0 messages are allowed
1 messages are not allowed
-1 An error has occurred.
