The kill utility sends the
signal to the processes specified
Only the super-user may send signals to other users' processes.
The options are as follows:
A symbolic signal name specifying the signal to be sent instead of the
option displays the signal names.
A non-negative decimal integer, specifying the signal to be sent instead
Some of the more commonly used signals:

.It -1 -1 (super-user broadcast to all processes, or user broadcast
.It 0 0 (sh(1) only, signals all members of process group)
.It 9 KILL (non-catchable, non-ignorable kill)
